Who is Nicolaus Taylor, anyway?
Nick is a Writer, Director, Producer and VFX Artist living in Los Angeles, California.
His credits range from his multiple originally produced short films to James Cameron's 'Avatar: The Way of Water' (2022) and 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' (2025).

A Veteran of the United States Navy, a husband, father, and dog owner- Nick spends his free time developing new and fresh ideas for original short and feature-length films, as well as reflecting on movies and television shows he's recently watched. His favorite movie is 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' (2013) and his favorite TV show is and will always be 'The Simpsons', at least in its golden years (1989-2007).

Nick works alongside VFX Supervisor Richard Baneham and Director James Cameron at Lightstorm Entertainment as a Virtual Stage Operator on the expanding 'Avatar' franchise and is a writer for the filmmaking website CineD.com. He is an alumnus of the Digital Cinematography program at Full Sail University.

He has written spec scripts for 'Superstore' (NBC), 'Bob's Burgers' (Fox), 'The Twilight Zone' (CBS) as well as multiple feature-length and short film screenplays. His body of work continues to expand as he makes new short films every year. Anything else you want to know, just ask!
